PC Health Check
Is your computer running slowly?
As time goes by you will notice that your computers performance deterioriates as all of the different programs that you use, and all of the websites that are loaded start to fill their working spaces. Every so often a good clear out is needed.
A lot of problems also come from the PC overheating, and in a lot of cases, this is where too much dust etc has built up inside the tower and blocking the needed air flow. We will solve this problem also by cleaning the inside of the machine.
Every PC needs a regular service to keep it running at its optimum level, and Linden Design can provide a complete Computer Health Check for less than half the price of other well known PC specialists.
Whilst we recommend that this check is done at least once a year, a computer that has never had a health check will still greatly benefit.
This service is very popular with our customers which is why we offer it at such a great price.
The health check includes:
- Using a tool to re-organise the hard drive data, so that all of the files on the hard drive are in the correct order, meaning they can be accessed quicker.
- Clearing out un-needed temporary files that your computer creates
- Full Virus and Spyware Check
- Checking for the latest security and performance updates for computer
- Checking the condition of the hard drive.
- We also advise on programs that are installed and may not be needed, and other areas including hard ware upgrades that may improve the speed, but we never uninstall anything without checking with the owner.
- Cleaning the inside of the machine and removing any dust and dirt inside.
This health check will take a long while to perform, and because of this, it is required that we perform this on our premises.
This service is offered as a flat rate of just £30 if the machine is dropped off to us, or £45* if we are required to collect it.
